Before pioneering the immensely popular Scary Movie franchise, the comedic powerhouse of Shawn and Marlon Wayans kept television audiences in stitches with THE WAYANS BROS. Now the cut-loose half-hour laugh fest, which laid the foundation for the theatrical hits White Chicks and Little Man, is back in syndication, cutting it up five times week with its zany antics.

Shawn and Marlon Wayans, part of the comedic Wayans dynasty, cut their teeth in big brother Keenan’s sketch TV hit, “In Living Color”. Transitioning into sitcoms with THE WAYANS BROS, the funnymen play Shawn and Marlon Williams, brothers vying for their father’s (John Witherspoon) acceptance but from very different vantage points.

Shawn is responsible, level-headed and extremely good looking. He keeps his eye on his newsstand business, which is right next to Pops’ diner, and his other eye on the ladies. Marlon is a free-wheeling papa’s boy, who’s a thorn in his ever-loving dad’s side. As if working together isn’t enough, the boys also share a New York City apartment.

Although they’re grown up, more often than not, they act like kids, translating into lots of laughs. The gag-filled, family-oriented sitcom, THE WAYANS BROS., is from Next to Last Productions and BabyWay Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television.
