Morris Freeman is the founder and President of Urban Spectrum Network LLC; formed in 2004 the company specializes in the urban entertainment segment. 

A media veteran with over 20 years of experience as a sales and marketing executive in television, radio and media sales.  Highly skilled in new business development and product positioning,  Freeman has also enjoyed success in developing and implementing overall sales strategy and sales goals for several marquee media companies; Black Pearl Entertainment in partnership with Warner Brothers Domestic Television,  CBS Radio, ABC Television, Gannet, Black Enterprise Magazine and Unity Broadcasting Network.    

Freeman's diverse background also includes expertise in repositioning both network and first-run syndicated programs to extend broadcast life and profitability, as well as all aspects of program development.  Freeman served as an integral member of the team that successfully launched Judge Mathis and positioned Queen Latifah in the marketplace. 

Over his 20 plus year career he has serviced an exclusive list of top agencies, including:  Starcom/MediaVest, Burrell, Tapestry, Unity Media, UniWorld Group, GSD&M, Global Hue, MindShare, Mediaedge;cia, E-Morris Communications, Footsteps, OMD, GM Mediaworks.  A partial list national advertisers he has called on include: Procter and Gamble, Kraft, Wal-Mart, Sears, McDonalds, Ford, Toyota, Burger King, Coca Cola, Master Foods, Gillette, Kellogg , Chrysler Corp, Sara Lee, Allstate, Walt Disney, American Family Insurance and General Motors.

Candace Green is a Partner and the Vice President of Marketing and Sales Operations at Urban Spectrum Network LLC. Green is responsible for development and implementation of the network’s marketing, research and brand strategy.

A media veteran with over 15 years of marketing and research experience; Green has a background in television, internet and radio. She has a proven track record of success in marketing and research serving as a strategist to media sales forces.

Prior to joining Urban Spectrum Network, LLC Green held management positions with Fox Broadcasting, CNBC.com, Sony Online Entertainment, ABC Family Channel and StarMedia Properties.

 

   

Dawnn Lewis

Dawnn Lewis is a multitalented and multifaceted individual.  Perhaps best known for her roles on the hit TV shows A Different World and Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, she is also a Grammy Award-winning singer, a multiple ASCAP & BMI Award-winning song writer, a film actor (I’m Gonna Get You Sucka…),  DreamGirls

A TV creator/producer (BLACK JAQ) for ABC.   She was recently honored with the 2008 INTEGRITY AWARD  from the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival.  Her performance abilities have been heralded around the world, and is often called upon to create and establish characters in successful shows in a variety of genre’s.  Most recently, she starred as “The Voice Of God” in the World Premiere Musical  NORMAN’S ARK  at the Ford Theatre.  This winter Dawnn also starred in the World Premiere of the Burt Bacharach/Hal David musical LOVE SWEET LOVE.  Prior to that she received rave reviews as well as the BEST ACTRESS: FRED AWARD (Los Angeles)  and a nomination for the 2007 BEST ACTRESS: SUZI AWARD (Atlanta, ALLIANCE THEATRE),  for her “knock your socks off!!!” performance in the World Premiere of the new Broadway-bound musical “SISTER ACT” as the “outrageous, Nun-On-The-Run”, Deloris Van Cartier. This summer she will re-create her spell-binding performance in Donald Welch’s star-studded cast of THE DIVORCE.  Both THE DIVORCE & SISTER ACT  were nominated for multiple 2008 NAACP Image Awards.  Dawnn started her own record label, Morning Jewel Music, and released her first CD, a sultry blend of Jazzy R&B entitled Worth Waiting For.  She has also given voice to animated characters for various TV series including Futurama,  King of the HillThe Boondocks, The X-Men.. 

Dawnn also finds time to teach Master Classes, mentor youth across the country, give motivational lectures and lend her support to:  The United Negro College Fund; American Cancer Society; The March of Dimes; Youth Entertainment Studios; the Inner City Games; Campfire Boys and Girls; The United States Conference on AIDS; The K.I.S.
